All of a sudden March is upon us and we have some catching up to do.
Once again National Iyengar Yoga Day was a great success on many levels. Through free classes all over the Island we introduced people in a practical way to the benefits of our method. However we were lucky enough to have a dedicated group of media savvy Yogis who brought the day to the attention of the National Media with newspaper and radio coverage. Well done to all the teachers who took part and also to those who worked so hard to publicise the event.
This year the DIYI is bringing 3 major events to Dublin.
Gulnaaz Dashti is visiting Dublin for a workshop in iYoga Phibsboro on 21st to 23rd April.
Firooza Ali is returning to Dunderry Park for a repeat of her inspiring residential retreat 22nd to the 26th of May.
Manouso Manos is coming to Dublin for the first time August 21st to 23rd.
We are very excited about these events but that's not all we are doing. We are also supporting other visiting teachers with a discount for DIYI members.
We have just set up a Twitter account, find and follow us at @dublin_iyengar
We are in the process of updating the website and hope to reach more people with a better social media presence.
