National Iyengar Yoga day was a tremendous success! Many thanks to all who worked so hard to make it happen.
Below are some events coming up that might interest you. Penny Chaplin is coming to teach a weekend workshop in iYoga in Phibsboro on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of February. For more info and to book go to www.iyoga.ie
There will be a PD day for Iyengar Yoga Teachers in iYoga on the 29th of March. this day will be given by Eileen Cameron. Booking at www.iyoga.ie
The next PD day will be on September 13th,given by Aisling Guirke.

Stephanie Quirke will be in Dublin on the 26th, 27th and 28th of April. This workshop is not to be missed. The first 2 days are a general workshop in the Marino Institute Dublin 9. The 3rd day is a teachers' day in iYoga. Bookings will be secured with a deposit of 50 euro for the weekend and a further 25 euro for the teachers day. Please send cheques made out to the DIYI, to Annette Cahill at the usual address.

Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th of May see the return of Elaine Martin to teach First Aid in the workplace. Each day is a complete course. There is special emphasis on first aid for yoga teachers.

National Iyengar Yoga Day
Free Yoga Classes throughout Ireland on Saturday 18th January 2014.
Yoga classes will be offered, free of charge, in over 60 locations throughout Ireland to celebrate National Iyengar Yoga day. Classes are beginner level and suitable for all, regardless of age, strength or flexibility.Each class will be 1 hour long. Those interested should contact Susanne on 0877521783 to enquire about classes taking place in their local area.
In Ireland there are 84 certified Iyengar Yoga teachers. A full list of all certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers in Ireland and the UK can be found at www.iyengaryoga.org.uk
